商务BEC中级心得体会

这是我自己一个字一个字打的。(原稿也,可能有点多。。。肺腑之言)

三个月的路走来不容易,为了BEC,我的课业平时有所懈怠,导致我的期末成绩没有以前那么好,但是我无怨无悔。因为我觉得大学里只有四六级是完全不够的,所以我觉得BEC比较适合自己考,而且我的专业就是经济类。我现在大二,四级只有534,六级487,非牛人。若你和我一样,扎扎实实地学英语,那么,这么心得体验很值得可以好好看看。当你在BEC之路困惑时,从这篇文章你可能会找到灵感,祝大家好运!!!

考试规则:

1.

阅读60分钟,共45道题目。错的个数要控制在18题或18题以下(错的题目个数是我以前在论坛上看到的拿C以上的标准)。

2.

作文45分钟

3.

听力40分钟(30分钟的听力+10分钟的填答题卡),共三十道题目,错的个数要控制在12题或12题以下(错的题目个数是我以前在论坛上看到的拿C以上的标准)。

教材准备:剑桥BEC真题集中级第2,3和4辑;新编剑桥商务英语中级同步辅导(第三版);新编剑桥商务英语中级第三版学生用书;新编剑桥商务英语中级第三版学生用书练习册;剑桥商务英语中级词汇精选 (新东方,黄色封面书);《新编剑桥商务口试必备手册PASS BEC》(陈小慰主编);新东方BEC主讲谢姣岳的中级口语教材;新编剑桥商务英语教师用书中级(第三版);

考试准备用品:

1.

文具用品:铅笔两只(一只怕不够,以防万一),橡皮,直尺,黑色水笔或者钢笔

2.

必备品:耳机(音质不错的,自己平时就在用的耳机,考场可能提供耳机,但是质量就。。。)

准考证,身份证,水杯,吃的食物(例如巧克力,因为阅读、作文和听力三个部分之间休息十分钟,从上午九点考到十二点二十分左右,需要及时补充营养哦)

注意事项:

1.

一般提前三十分钟进场。本人在南师大老校区考的,准考证上明明写的八点半开考,但是居然八点半才让我们进场,就是九点开考的。以前也有考过BEC中级的学姐和我说九点开考。没想到,真的被蒙了啊~

2.

准考证大约提前三天去拿。可以带领,得出示本人身份证和背带领人的身份证。最好早点去拿,发放准考证的人有工作时间。记得我们星期六考BEC,星期四去拿准考证时,那个人多的啊……

阅读:(注意!!!这部分的答案均用铅笔填!!!)

1.

第一部分:

⑴这部分总共八个答案,一般来说2A、2B、2C和2D。我和我的partner曾经把真题辑的第二、三和四辑的阅读第一部分答案统计过一遍,发现基本上是2A、2B、2C和2D。也有例外,貌似每一辑的Test4就不是这样的,或是2,2,1,3,即有一个或有三个答案是它。但是掌握了这样的规律,就可以有时候蒙答案了,相当有效。

⑵答题诀窍:近义词转化。一般一段有两层中心意思,这两层中心意思会用however,but,on the otherhand之类的转折词或者Meantime之类的并列词语,一般看得出来的。因为有两层中心意思,所以才会有2A、2B、2C和2D。

⑶先看问题,再看文章。看问题的句子时,把重要、醒目、不太一样的词语划出来,这很有可能就是文章中需要近义词转化的词语!!!然后看完问题的句子后,有个大概印象后,再去看文章。

⑷千万不能一看到题目,就直接看题目。同时也要注意前几行字的第一行,通常是look at the statesmentbelow and the …/about…接下来的几个英文词语要好好看了啊,还有文章的标题。这两个方面会给你一个商务背景,有个很粗的印象,是讲的关于商务哪部分内容。

2.

第二部分:

⑴这一部分的G选项首要排除,因为已经选了。先看所给的6个句子,有个大致的.印象。

⑵将句子填入时,要通过前后句,分析其中的因果,或者有时候看前后句远远不够,需要好好看看这一段的大致内容。

⑶这一部分我通常放在最后一部分做,因为是阅读最难的一部分了。

3.

第三部分(正常的阅读理解):

⑴一篇文章一般有6段,而考题是6题,即一段对应一个问题,有时候会出现5段,即一段会对应两个题目。这与四六级完全不同的是,四六级的阅读注重上下文的联系,做阅读题目得根据上下文联系来得出答案。但是,BEC的阅读不注重上下文的联系。只有先考题目,再去指定的段落中找,即可,求速度。

⑵答题诀窍:近义词(组)和句子转化,一一对应的。

⑶一般考细节,很少考大意。这与四六级非常不一样。

第四部分—完形填空:

⑴考察的是基础知识。单词:熟知商务单词的含义。词组:基本上都是常用的词组

⑵个人觉得比四级的完型简单点,所以考友们要淡定。但是这部分得保证拿高分。因为貌似BEC中级的阅读分值是均等的,而这部分有这么多道题目,其实占了比较大的比例啊~

5.

第五部分—只要删除错误的选项:

⑴一般是CORRECT(包括题目中已经给出的)大概3~4个。

⑵个人认为这部分不太注重文章的连贯性,关键考的是语法。所以做题时,不仅要看一行字,关键是要看完整的一句话,把你一句话看一、两遍,你就会感觉到错误在哪了。看一句完整的句子时候,一定要分析语法结构,用适当的标记。结构一分析完,答案基本上就出来了。

⑶通过做几篇后,我发)现一般有类似如下的单词容易被排除:such,with,to,these(也包括those,that同一类型的),about。尤其是介词。若碰到有词组,一定要当心,可以把词组中的干扰项,例如名词,形容词+名词,用括号划出来,省略,不看,词组的错误点就会显现出来。

写作:

1.

小作文;

⑴把真题辑上的小作文归纳一下,有哪几种类型。一般考Email或者Memo,一定要看清题目,考的是哪种文体。

⑵在考前,各种文体各练两遍,加强手感(不能只是看看,一定要自己写写,不然,到了考场没感觉)。

⑶一定要注意格式,所有的BEC作文另起一行时,没有空格,直接写。

⑷若写的是email,注意开头:Dear …...,结尾时:regards ,人名。

2.

大作文:

⑴把真题辑上的大作文归纳一下,有哪几种类型。有过Letter,Proposal或者Report,一定要看清题目,考的是哪种文体。

⑵在考前,依旧要把各种文体各练两遍,加强手感(不能只是看看,一定要自己写写,不然,到了考场没感觉)。

⑶若是Report,则是按照:Report on……,Introduction……,Findings…..,Recommendation的格式写。一定要注意格式,所有的BEC作文另起一行时,没有空格,直接写。

听力:

1.

第一部分(填空词一个或两个单词,所有字母要大写,而且若两单词,中间要空一格):

⑴一般来说,一篇短话会有七、八个回合,答案的出处一般为第三至五、六个回合。所以若前两句没听懂,没事,那个一般为引入话题而已,前面的铺垫。注意听第三至五、六个回合。

⑵要注意在听前作预测,这样会对接下来的短话有个粗略的商务背景环境的感觉,有助于接下来做题。

⑶一般一句话只会填出一个空格。

⑷所填的单词很有可能为说话人重读的单词或词组,而且有时候会放慢点语速,练到最后的听力,就会比较容易听出来,偌达到这种境界,那说明你成功了。

⑸一般,填一个空的单词或词组时,A提出一个观点,接下来被B否认,出现however,but之类的单词,答案往往就是转折词之后的单词。前面先提出来的通常为干扰信息,但是也可能有例外,有时候前面之前被否定的部分!!!

2.第二部分—选项配对(听力中一致被认为最难的一部分):

⑴第一个小部分通常为内容题,第二个小部分通常为观点题。看到题目后,不要直接看选项,应该也要看一下题目中的问题:例如发言人在管理的成功之处什么,说话人有什么目的……,这有助于一个粗略的商务环境的背景。

⑵若听到的和题目中,重合越多,首先排除。若与原文一致的,则大多数情况下直接排除。

⑶相当注意转折词和强调句。答案很有可能是转折词之后的内容。答案一般集中在后半段,有时候会是最后一句话。

⑷在拿到试卷后,就应该速度、简洁地把每一项的中文意思写出来,这样很助于选择,而且要把每一项的关键词(醒目、耀眼、特殊)的划出来。因为可能全对着英文选,考场容易一紧张,看英文会有糊了的感觉。

⑸注意说话人的语调、情感,很助于选择,可以看出说话人是积极的还是消极(例如抱怨)的态度。

*由于这一部分是听力中最难的,所以一定要沉得住气。听第一遍时,可能会有蒙的感觉。但是听第二遍时,集中注意力,听懂的感觉会远远超于第一遍的感觉。

3.

第三部分:

⑴先看文章的内容关于什么,千万不要忽视题目,这是整篇文章的核心。

⑵答案A,B,C,其中八个题目的分配顺序通常是2个,2个和3个。

⑶若文章是两个人的对话,A问,B回答,那么,A问和B的回答,一一对应。B回答的即是一道题目的答案。这个和阅读的第三部分很相似。也有可能B回答了考题中的两个题目。若是单人演讲,则注意听演讲人的语调,一个小部分结束后,会听得出来的。

⑷近义词转化。

⑸注意转折词,通常转折词后的未答案所在。

⑹有时候所听非所得。

口语:

刚开始我们用的是陈小慰的《新编剑桥商务口试必备手册》。但发现量太多了,而且有高级的部分,所以比较烦躁。后来听一个考过BEC中级的学姐说:只要把真题辑的口试部分练练就OK了。所以我们果断放弃那本厚厚的蓝书,在考前两星期开始练真题辑上的口试第二、三部分。我们连续差不多两周早起,七点十分在操场或专业楼见面练口语。后来经过短短的几天,发现口语提高的很快。至于口试的第一部分,用的是新东方BEC主讲谢姣岳的中级口语教材(网上down的),它上面有关于第一部分的题目的概述。经过口语考试后,我和我的partner发现考题很多是这上面的!!!

复习步骤(本人的,仅供参考 )

1.

九月:学生用书和同步辅导相结合。把学生用书上的商务知识有个初步的了解,同步辅导上每个单元前面部分的单词、词组要多看,很有可能是听力第一部分所填的内容。

2.

十月:

⑴阅读&听力:开始做真题。先做第三辑,接着第二辑,最后做第四辑。因为第四辑为最新的,应该比较有参考价值。而且最好用铅笔做,做完后可以擦,做第二、三遍。每做一遍的感觉都不同。

⑵口语:这个月要开始和自己的partner练口语。刚开始我们在十月把同步辅导上的口语部分单独拣出来,标好是口语中的第几部分。同步辅导上的口语第二部分几个最后要背下来,因为发现口语考试中很容易看到这几个类似的,考口语时,可以套上去,例如;communction,cost,efficiency…...

3.

十一月:

⑴阅读&听力:依旧做真题,手感很重要。

⑵作文:在考前前两个星期开始着手作文,作文一定自己亲自写几篇,考试才有底。

在考前把做过的卷子看看,回顾总结一下。考前一晚,睡个好觉,保证睡眠质量。就去考试了。

口语,你可以事先找好partner,习惯下对方的口音和讲话的思路,但是我比较倒霉,培训班里找的partner没有分在一个考场里,所以只能在考场里临时找一个。不过考试的时候发现其实这个关系也不大,只要你partner说得英语你听得懂就ok了,还有准备下关于自己学习工作方面的基本问题,因为开始上来一般都会问这个,口试的流程事先要熟悉,不然就去一紧张,考官的话就成天书了,

阅读和写作没什么好多说的,和以前经历的大小考试区别不大,有些商务词汇还是要记下的,不然文章看不懂,写作有固定的格式,不要混淆了,这个很关键的。

最后要讲的是真实的考试比平时的练习要难很多,这个是我此次的深刻体会,各位要切记不可像我一样大意啊,如果已经做过真题的朋友们就会发现,真题也要比平时练习卷难,剑桥商务英语证书(中级)模拟试题册 人民邮电出版社,虽然是大家公认的和真题比较接近的书,但是由于出书教早难度明显跟不上发展,只有形式是一样的,所以BEC新手可以参考下它的格式,我本人这本书就做了4份听力,明显感觉比考试简单很多。
