“啪啪！”伴着一声声清脆的响声，一个个活灵活现的花式馒头就摆满了桌子。看，又大又红的寿桃，可爱无比的小绵羊，金光灿灿的金元宝……奶奶把它们一个个小心地摆在蒸板上，放进一个蒸笼里。随着蒸煮时间的增加，馒头特有的香味越来越浓。“呼！”一打开蒸笼盖子，哇！满满的麦香顿时笼罩了整个房间，甜甜的，有一股属于大自然的芳香，好像看到了茵茵的绿草，五彩的花朵，欢歌的鸟雀……这麦香让人一下子提起精神，心情也变得很愉悦。捧着还 冒着热气的馒头，丝丝温暖从指尖流进心头。轻轻地掰开，细数中间精致的小气孔和那一层层梯田似的中心，和着香气把馒头送入口中，细细地嚼着，那麦香和温暖，好像无数条丝线一样，在不知不觉间，轻轻挑起味蕾的喜爱，让你情不自禁地喜欢上这个又白又暖又软的，还 有点甜的大馒头。于是，一整天就浸在这香气中半梦半醒，度过难得的悠闲时光。
到了晚上，奶奶就用剩下的那些面团儿包饺子。面团被揉成长长的一条，揪成一小块一小块的，用手一压，然后擀成饺子皮。奶奶一手托着皮，一手拿着勺子，挖了一大勺肉馅，放在皮中间，两只大拇指一弯，一捏，一个元宝形的饺子就诞生了！小小的饺子里包的都是浓浓的亲情啊。一排排整齐的饺子好像等待检阅的士兵一样等待着新年钟声的敲响。

除夕的晚上都要包饺子，半夜十二点吃，农历正月初一伊始，取“更子”之意，“交”“饺”谐音，所以叫“饺子”。每到除夕晚上八点多，爸爸妈妈就开始忙活起来。爸爸活面，妈妈则把鲜肉切碎，剁成肉泥，再将白菜剁碎与肉泥拌在一起，加上油、盐等调料，一盆水饺馅就做好后，我们全家坐在一起包饺子。妈妈把活好的面切下一块搓成细条，切下来，爸爸用擀面杖擀成一张张圆圆的皮。只见妈妈左手拿皮，然后把馅用筷子夹到皮上，再把饺子皮对着合起来，用手一点一点地捏，一个个饺子像一个个元宝一样，在盖顶上围成一圈。这时我也下手帮忙。
包好后，十一点多，妈妈就会开始炒菜、烧水煮熟饺子，我们全家坐在一起，一边吃着饺子，一边迎接新年的到来。吃着吃着会咬到一个硬币，这就表示来年一定能交好运，春节的饺子是团圆的饺子，也是吉祥的饺子。

相传，中国古时候有一种叫年的怪兽，头长触角，凶猛异常。“年”常年身居海底，每到一年的最后一天村寨的人们扶老携幼逃往深山，以躲避“年”的伤害。
有一年的最后一天，桃花村的乡亲们正急急忙忙上山避难，从村外来了个乞讨的老人，只见他手柱拐棍，臂搭囊袋，银须飘逸目若朗星。乡亲们有的封窗锁门、有的收拾行装、有的牵马赶羊，到处都是人喊马嘶的声音。一片匆忙逃慌的景象。这时，谁还有心关心这位乞讨的老人，只有村头的老婆婆给了老人一些食物，并劝他赶紧上山躲避年兽，那老人摇头笑道：“婆婆若是让我在这住一晚我定吧年兽赶跑〃老婆婆惊目细看，只见他鹤发童颜，精神矍铄，气宇不凡。老婆婆仍然劝说赶紧上山吧，一会年兽就要来了。老人摇摇头。老婆婆无奈只好自己上山避难去了。
半夜时分，年兽闯进村子，它发现村里气氛与过年不同：村东头老婆婆家，门贴大红纸，屋内烛火通明。“年”兽浑身一抖，怪叫一声，冲向了老婆婆家，就在这个时候!院内“噼里啪啦”响了起来。它浑身乱抖，再也不敢前进半分，原来它怕红色，亮光和炸响。这时老婆婆家的们打开了，之间院内的老头哈哈大笑，年兽大惊狼狈的逃了。
第二天是正月初一，避难的人会来了，人们见村内安然无恙，十分惊奇。这时老婆婆恍然大悟，连忙向乡亲们叙说了乞讨老人的许诺。乡亲们一起拥向老婆婆家，之见老婆婆家门上贴着大红纸，院内几根红蜡烛发着余光……欣喜若狂的相亲们为庆贺吉祥的来临，纷纷换新衣戴新帽，到亲朋好友家道喜问好，这件事很快就在周围的村子里传开了，人们都知道了驱赶年兽的方法了。
从此以后，人们把这一天叫除夕。

时间过得飞快，转眼间，一年即将过去，在大家的期盼中，新的一年又即将到来。
今天就是除夕，让我最惦记的，就是那美味的年夜饭了。平时，大人天天上班，小孩天天上学，亲人们欢聚一堂的时间实在太少，除夕夜里的那顿年夜饭就显得非常难得。今年，在重庆的舅舅舅妈带着表弟表妹回来了，在远方读书的表哥表姐也一起回来了，连在永修的外公外婆也和大家共庆新春。长辈们在饭桌上举杯祝福、聊天欢笑，我便和兄弟姐妹大口吃着的饭菜。有这么多的亲人在，年夜饭也变得更加可口。大家也学着大人的样子，举着杯子祝福外公外婆万事如意、长命百岁，他们满是皱纹的脸上也洋溢着幸福的笑容。
吃完了年夜饭，大家又欢聚一堂，一边观看着电视里精彩的节目，一边兴致勃勃地讨论着这一年来的`趣事。房子里暖意洋洋、笑声满堂，弥漫着一股浓浓的年味。这时，外面忽然响起了燃放烟花爆竹的声音，大家大家都连忙下了楼，只见地面上“噼里啪啦”的爆竹声，伴着一个个烟花的炸开，大家都看得眼花缭乱。天空被烟花给照亮得如同白昼，我的心里也乐开了花，心想：这么多的烟花，这么响的爆竹声，肯定寄托着全国人民那对新的一年到来的欢乐!我十分激动，和小伙伴也亮出了各种烟花爆竹：“金雕”、“黑豹”、“大熊猫”一齐炸响，“小陀螺”转个圈，“冲天炮”划过夜空，“轰天雷”更是厉害，一出来就一鸣惊人……人们以快乐的心情迎接着新一年的到来。
在这欢乐的气氛中，一捆捆爆竹炸响，一个个烟花绽放，大家都迎接新年的到来!这个除夕夜可真快乐!
