大家好！我演讲的题目是《英雄》。
在中国的文学道路上，矗立着一座伟大的丰碑。那是一部中国乃至世界都家喻户晓的经典巨作——《西游记》。
从小到大，我对《西游记》的理解不断地变化着。小时候，《西游记》对我来说，是荧幕上六小龄童演绎的经典故事；后来，它化身为精美的连环画，溜进漫画书中；如今，它又摇身一变，成为每个读书人必然修读的四大古典名著之一。唯一不变的，是《西游记》中色彩斑斓的经典故事。
细细品读《西游记》，留给我印象最深刻的莫过于书中的英雄——孙悟空。“英雄”二字，谁都会写，但真正的英雄又有多少呢？汉灵帝时期的大思想家刘劭有云：“聪明秀出，谓之英；胆力过人，谓之雄。”孙悟空有一双火眼金睛，能识出妖魔鬼怪；他身手敏捷，腾云驾雾不在话下。若以之衡量，孙悟空无疑是英雄的典范。
再三阅读，我对孙悟空的“英雄”之称却有了新的理解。他为了赢回自己的尊严，不惜与天兵神将打得轰轰烈烈。《大闹天宫》是书中最热闹的片段。细心品味，我却隐隐感到一丝悲剧色彩。即使他拥有再大的本领，但在命运面前却显得如此无助。即使他知道最终必定会以失败收场，却仍然与命运奋力搏斗。这种“明知不可为而为之”的“愚蠢”行为，在我看来，却处处凸显孙悟空的英雄气概。
在恻隐之心油然而生的同时，给我更多的是反思。如今，谁能为了崇高的理想，与命运拼死搏斗？我想，答案是不确定的'，因为没有人会永远臣服于命运的脚下。但至少我们都明白，勇于跟命运搏斗的人，就是英雄。当然，这种勇于拼搏的行为并不是盲目的，如果一个人为了理想，而去杀人放火，这又算是什么英雄行为呢？

爸爸很小的时候爷爷就因病去世，奶奶也改嫁了。是太婆一手把爸爸抚养成人。太婆也是个传奇人物，我想爸爸遗传了她的性格。太婆很早之前就失去了太公，一个人艰难地生活了大半辈子，知道一把年纪了，也因为媳妇改嫁带着三个孙子生活，儿子也早逝。她是个坚强的女人。爸爸说太婆实在不容易，一辈子都在劳累操心没享到一点福就离开了人世，说着爸爸眼里含着泪水，但他绝对不会在我面前留眼泪，原因很简单，因为他是我爸爸。爸爸说，他从小生活很苦，因为家庭又特殊，生活特别不易。有时没有米饭还要向邻居讨。每逢过年，爸爸说太婆会买一斤肉，但是不能吃，只能招呼给前来拜访的亲戚，他只能干干地看着，现在他回想说他的童年好像和肉没有缘分。
小时候没有钱读书，农村里大部分孩子就是在家耕田放牛，爸爸也是如此，尽管他心里想去学校，也因为两块钱学费破灭了他的梦想。爸爸说，在家吃了饭就去田里，要干活干到晚上才回家，不然哪来吃的'。有一次，吃饭实在没有菜。爸爸干吃辣椒拌饭，去了地里肚子疼的全身发冷，又因为家里离地里太远没能回去，就在山里头呆了一个晚上，第二天好点了才回去。
农村的孩子没什么好玩耍的，爸爸说他们小时候最有趣的就是干活的时候和其他朋友一起玩。爸爸说有一次玩耍让他惊心动魄。那天下午爸爸牵着牛出去吃草，和小伙伴们玩耍，然后不知道怎么就不小心滑到池塘里了，爸爸不会游泳，一掉进池塘就拼命地往上爬，刨得手发疼，几番挣扎，呛了几口水也终于保了命。爸爸说的时候都长叹一口气。
爸爸的童年是让人觉得不可思议的，所以这么多的生死边缘下我爸爸还是留在我身边好好的，所以我很庆幸上帝让我爸爸平安地活到现在。爸爸是我心中永远的英雄。

只有9岁的林浩，面对这突如其来的灾难，表现出了超乎常人的沉着与镇定，他不忘作为班长的责任与使命，用双手刨挖废墟四五个小时，不但救出了自己，还救出了两名同学！郎铮这个名字估记大家还不大熟悉，但只要提起一个3岁孩子在向救援人员行了一个军礼时，大家一定会记得那一幕。这个小男孩在死神向他招手时，可他坚强地面对恐惧和伤痛，难以置信地经受住了这个原本不属于他的考验。不愧是英雄出少年！湖南籍老师谭千秋，用生命谱出了一首感天动地的赞歌，写出了一个大大的“人”字！他不愧是人类灵魂的工程师，更不愧为人民的英雄！
国难中，无数个英雄连名字都没有留下，无数个英雄把生的希望留给了别人，这里，我不能一一说出他们的事迹。

And the games will also do good to the economy and environment, for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened.
