篇1：浅谈家庭英语学习
【摘要】 本文主要从家庭的英语学习环境入手，找出学生在学校学习英语“热”，在家里学习英语“冷”的原因。并针对性地提出解决问题的方法，倡议家长也和学生一起学习英语，为学生创设另一个语言环境，从而提高学生学习英语的兴趣和效率。

一、 愁：家庭英语学习竟成漏网之鱼
小学英语因为师资力量的强大，教学方法的改善和教学设备的完善，学生在学校学英语学得如火如荼，较之以往的英语学习有了很大的改观，学生的口语，英语文化知识都有了很大的进步。在课堂上学生学习英语气氛浓厚，学习热情高涨。在家里学生又是如何学英语的呢？他们有没有把所学的用于生活中，并与家长交流呢？家长是如何对待学生学习英语的？我通过调查两个班级，发现一些情况：（以下是调查表格和结论）

A．人数为48人的班级有 20.8%的家长在家会指导学生读英语和学习新的知识，而人数为50人 班级有20.6%家长在家也会指导学生读英语。但是他们的指导还是停留在背诵和默写的阶段。背书、背单词、默写单词、默写句子。而家长对课本里的英语文化知识视而不见，口语交流更是甚少涉及。
b. 人数为48人的班级有33.3%的家长表示他们会督促学生在家完成英语的读和写作业，而人数为50人 班级有36%的家长表示他们也会督促学生。因为他们以前学的英语知识有限，所以口语交流几乎是没有的，在老师的要求下，孩子与家长就有了用英语交流的尝试，家长开始还是挺配合的。接着他们就逐渐感到力不从心，最后演变成不和孩子说英语了。
c. 人数为48人的班级有45.9%的家长表示极少关心学生(而人数为50人 班级有43.4%的家长也是这样。)因为这些家长所处的时代背景不同，且他们所受的教育有限，遗忘得又快；本身对英语没有什么兴趣，也不知道孩子平时读的是对还是错，而自己工作又忙，所以不懂孩子所学的英语,也不感兴趣孩子学到什么英语。
由此可见，家庭英语的学习是很冷场的，家长参与学习英语的积极性不高，学生回家运用英语的频率也不高。
对孩子的教育实际是学校、家庭、社会三者相结合的教育，其中家庭教育作为辅助，是不可忽视的。家庭教育是学校教育的延伸，父母是孩子的第一任教师，家庭是孩子的第一所学校，孩子身上的一切折射出父母对他们的教育和影响。所以，家庭环境在教育孩子的过程中起着非常关键的作用。
父母与孩子一起学习，是培养孩子学习英语的一个有效的途径。在今天，教育的对象不仅仅是孩子，每个人都面临终身接受教育，现在的孩子见多识广，他们接受的一些新知识是家长没有接触过的。这就意味着家长既要帮助孩子学习，又要跟孩子一起学习，做到家学相长，共同进步。所谓家学相长，指的是家长与学生共同学习，互相促进，如同“教学相长”所提倡的教师的教与学生的学互相影响一样。
二、思：用家学相长点燃学习英语的希望
家学相长它是课堂教学的有益补充、扩展，给学生开辟更多的空间，是课堂外的另一个课堂。它让学生学到一些书本上没有的知识，又或者学到比书本更详细的知识。因此我寻思着开辟一条学习英语的新道路――家学相长。而它的意义是深远的：
1. 对家长而言，学习让他们不断完善自我，发展和改善一家人一起生活和沟通的机会，让家庭生活多姿多彩。
2. 对学生而言，它能唤起学生学习的潜能，激活他们的自学能力。探究大师Tim o’Keefe 说“Tell me I forget, teach me I remember, involve me I understand.”通过家长和学生一起学习，在很大程度上推动了学生的自主和探究学习。一旦家长教会学生上网查单词的方法，下次学生就会自己主动去寻求知识。因为他们渴望获得更多知识，不断提高他们的自学能力。
3. 学生和家长通过互动中的交谈，培养了学生的自信、乐学、善学、合作的学习品质和个性。心理学家的研究表明，在人们的学习和事业成功的道路上，非智力因素往往起着更大的作用。他们说：“仅有IQ（智商）是不够的，我们应当用EQ（情商）来教育下一代，帮助他们发挥与生俱来的潜能。”教师和家长要让孩子对学习英语感兴趣、有信心，觉得“我能行”、“我也有学习英语的天赋，能够在家里、班里都表现得快乐，家长要善于培养孩子的自信心和自尊心。
三、为：用心播下家学相长的种子
学生在课堂上学习的知识毕竟是有限的，而且有的学生没有充分的吸收，我想教师应该将学习环境扩展到家庭上，让学生的学习环境不仅仅局限在学校的课堂上。如同井上一马先生（他是日本极负盛名的翻译家）所言，活生生的语言要在活生生的语境中来学，这样才能找到感觉并牢牢记住，否则就会失去学习语言的兴趣与动力。如果家长与学生一起在实际生活中学习英语，那既丰富了自己的知识又能了解并促进学生的学习，岂不是一举两得。作为新世纪的家长应该与时俱进，学会自我更新，填补自己以前英语学习的空白。因此笔者提倡“教学相长”。
如何实现英语学习的家学相长呢？如何为学生创设一个家庭的英语学习环境呢？家长和学生该如何行动呢？下面三点是笔者印发给家长的倡议书内容：
1. 希望家长本人要重视英语，重视孩子的英语学习，要与孩子一起走进英语知识的海洋中。家长和孩子可以在家里创设良好的学习英语的环境。如：在家里显眼的地方贴上常用的英语单词，方便孩子记忆单词，收看简单的英语卡通片，和学生一起阅读有趣的英语短故事。通过设置这样的环境让孩子置身于英语学习的环境中，让他们自然的与英语接触学习，同时也让孩子感受到父母对英语的重视。
2. 希望家长要以身作则，敢于开口去说英语，不怕犯错误，用自己的行动为孩子做好模范带头作用，鼓励孩子要像自己那样克服困难，坚持天天学习英语。在这样的影响下，孩子必然会模仿父母，双方经常进行free talk，长此以往，英语将有可能变成孩子和家长的第二母语。
3. 希望家长要积极配合老师的作业布置，与学生共同成长。
以下是笔者在教学实践中通过作业的设计来实现具体的家学相长的一些做法：
（1）共同制作手抄报。手抄报作业可让学生和家长一起参与共同完成。在制作过程中，家长与孩子一起交流，也可向孩子讨教。如在制作my family 手抄报时，家长在协助孩子贴相片或者描画时，可问孩子“ Who’s that man？”孩子答：“ He’s my father .”再问“who’s that woman 。” 孩子答：“She’s my mother.” 这时妈妈可点头说: “Yes, that’s me. “who’s that boy ？”孩子就会很高兴和自豪的说: “That’s me.”
（2) 共同练习口语。新课程标准就是要培养学生的自信、自强、乐学、善学、参与的`学习品质和个性，从而成为适应新世纪的发展人才。让孩子拥有成就感，是提高孩子学习英语兴趣、增强学习信心的有效途径。很多家长抱怨说自己不懂英语，不能帮助孩子学习英语。其实不然，我们可以提供更多的机会让家长和学生一起学习英语，让孩子拥有更多学习英语的成功感。如学到My new room时就让学生在家里和家长描述自己的房间。身临其境的说话，是多么真实和容易。又如在学会饮料食物后，我布置一道学生询问家长所喜欢的食物的口语作业。许多学生回来后都兴高采烈地告诉我说，“爸爸妈妈没我厉害呢。他们连hamburger、 hot dog、 french fries、Coke 都不会，都是我教会他们的。” 说这话时，孩子们多么自信，多么神采飞扬。我想如果我的学生能经常这么有信心，这样的教学是多么的成功！
（3) 共同写作。在一部分家庭中，我们可以让家长利用自己丰富的词汇帮助学生提高英语写作水平。如在教完season 这一单元后我布置了英语写作：my favorite season。开始，有一个学生交了一篇只有5句话的作文，I like spring best. It’s cool. It’s windy. I can fly kites. I can plant trees.于是我让她回去和爸爸妈妈商量一下，认真修改。因为所写的作文太简要了。后来该学生交了一篇让我刮目相看的作文，让我感受到在英语教学中家庭教育是可以充分挖掘和利用的有效资源。范文如下：
I like spring best. Spring is the first season in a year. It's very beautiful. In spring, it’s warm. The trees are green and the flowers come out. There are many butterflies on the flowers. They are red, yellow, orange and brown. You can also hear the singing of the birds. If it’s windy, we can fly kites. If it’s sunny, we can have a picnic and play games. So my favourite season is spring. Do you like it?
我表扬了这孩子，并仔细询问了她是如何写出这篇文章的。她自豪地告诉我,“ 这是我爸爸教给我的 。我写的那篇只有5句话，是爸爸启发了我，让我从周围多点观察，我才会写得这么好的作文。”
（4）善用生活资源。日常生活中，可以鼓励家长多讲常用语如：Good night！ Good bye! Have a sweet dream ! Have some fruits! Good luck for you ！等，让孩子多接触英语。在生活中，家长还可让孩子多接触英语，比如带孩子到麦当劳、肯德基用餐时，让孩子看看（KFC）和（McDonald's）,带孩子去买运动衣服和鞋子时可教会sport、Nike、clothes、shoes.的读音和含义。还有去银行时教会孩子bank．．．鼓励和陪同孩子一起看英语动画片，碰到含有英语的地方指给孩子看，并一同学习。有机会接触老外的时候，家长鼓励孩子主动与他们say hello,并大胆运用自己的所学和老外交谈。最后，别忘记向孩子学习，并表扬孩子。“一束赞许的目光，一个会心的微笑，一次赞许的点头，都可以传递真情的鼓舞，都能表达对孩子的夸奖，都能让孩子信心飞扬。”
（5）充分利用网络资源。不管是学生还是老师抑或是家长，都会有不懂的问题。如果碰到问题，那该如何解决？一起努力，寻找解决问题的办法。我认为这是最有效的学习方式。如碰到不会发音，不懂其义的单词，家长可以利用网络查找，然后一同学习。如果学生学习能力差，家长可先学会再教学生。相反，如果家长不行的话，那只能乖乖接受孩子的教导了。以前学电脑也是困难的事，但是如今，家家有电脑，很多家长都会用。如果家长懂得在金山词霸输入单词，那么就学会发音了。另外，我们还可以在网上享受一些英语卡通片和英语电影.日积月累，家长和学生都会在英语知识的田野上获得丰收。
以上只是家学相长的一些途径。只要有心去探索，还会有更多有效的途径可利用。只要教师发动得当，宣传得广泛，学生和家长的英语肯定学的顶呱呱。
四、喜：让家学相长循序渐进，有所飞跃
（1）通过一段时间的具体实践，让学生与家长共同合作完成口头或书写的英语作业后，发现学生学习英语的积极性和热情比以前高了，连很少说话的学生也受到了班上同学的感染，都忍不住举起手来要回答问题。
（2）学生的学习自信心增强了。如果你现在来问孩子，英语难不难学，孩子们会毫不犹豫的跟你说，“不难，连我爸我妈不会的，我都教会他们了，这还难吗？”“那你是小老师啦？” “ 那还用说！”
（3）学生的英语成绩进步了。我们班就有7个同学由中等成绩跃到中上成绩，有5个同学口语原来不怎么样，现在张嘴就是英语，英语水平是不可小看的。
（4）家长与孩子的感情加深了。 通过合作互动，父母与孩子都能欣赏彼此闪亮的一面，家庭成员间的感情自然而然的更加融洽了。
教学实践表明，家学相长的家庭英语学习的模式的影响是潜移默化的。但是它对于帮助孩子学习英语，提高孩子学习英语的热情与积极性是非常有效的，家长应多些关注孩子的英语学习，与孩子一起学习。Two heads are better than one。

首先，家长要认识到幼儿英语教育的目标是提高幼儿学习的兴趣，培养幼儿的听说能力，而不是看幼儿掌握了多少词汇。
其次，如果家长的英语水平有限，无法在日常生活中帮助孩子学习英语，那么可参加幼儿园在周六周日开展的家庭英语讲座。这种讲座可以让家长了解幼儿英语教育的内容，让家长掌握怎样为幼儿学习英语创设一个良好的英语学习环境。
再次，家长要与幼儿园经常沟通，及时反映幼儿英语学习中的问题，以满足自己的需求。而幼儿园则要经常采纳家长的意见，以便改进幼儿英语教学中的不足。
在日常的生活游戏中随时随地地与儿童进行英语交谈
