第二类：大段的插入与或同位语
打断读者的思路，割裂前后之间的语义，造成理解的困难。我们称之为“打岔”。

第三类：倒装
由于应该放在句首的成分太长，因此倒装到句末。也是一种人为现象。例：That sex ratio will be favored which maximizes the number of descendants an individual will have and hence the number of gene copies transmitted.
读法：需要经过训练后才能按正常语序读。
正常语序：
That sex ratio which maximizes the number of descendants that an individual will have and hence the sex ratio which maximize the number of gene copies transmitted will be favered。
高级读法：直接读，见后：考查能力：大脑的排序能力
第四类：省略
相对以上三种来讲比较简单，在短句中大家一般都可以看出。但是如果在长句中出现，特别是如果与以上三种之一甚至几种同时出现，也会给同学们带来很大的困难。如上例原句中的省略，在第二个the number of 前省略了“sex ration which maximizes”.
二、考研阅读难句训练法
训练方法：凡读过的考研阅读文章，凡有读一两遍不懂的句子，摘下记在笔记本上：每天花半小时来读，读懂读顺为止;开始越读越多，直到几十句以后，越来越少，一个月后几乎没有了。这时可以达到高级读法：因为大脑已经熟悉了这4种难句的结构，因此可以预判和自动整理语序，除了太长的插入语之外(3行以上)，均可以直接读下来。这里面的道理在于，人的大脑对于语言的处理方式是高度自动化的，一旦大脑熟悉了某种语言的结构，他就会对以这样的结构出现的语句进行自动的处理，哪怕句子是语序到的，你也能在瞬间知道其意思，绝无混乱之感。

英语语法有五中基本句型现在逐一给大家进行讲解分析，了解句子的基本结构，便于进行句子分析。
一、主语-系动词-表语（SVC）
该句型中的谓语动词是系动词。系动词后接的.部分可称为表语，也可称为（主语）补足语，主语补足语这一部分的主要功能是对主语进行说明、补充。英文中的系动词主要指Be动词的各种变化形式，也包括那些有时起系动词作用的实义动词。此类动词常见的有：become（变成），look（看上去），seem（看起来），appear（相似、显得），get（变得），feel（摸起来），grow（变得），turn（变成），remain（仍然是），come（变得），fall（变得），hold（保持），keep（保持），stand（保持），stay（保持），smell（闻起来），sound（听起来），taste（尝起来）等。
二、主语-动词-宾语（SVO）
该句型中的谓语动词是及物动词，那么它必须带有自己的宾语。在英文中，当一个动词（包括单个动词和动词短语）作及物动词用时，它必须要有自己的宾语（除非是宾语在上下文里很明确地提到过，为避免不必要的重复，才会省去。），否则会视为“句子不完整”。
三、主语-动词（SV）
该句型中的谓语动词是不及物动词，没有直接宾语；但常带有时间、地点、方式等状语。
四、主语-动词-宾语-宾语补足语（SVOC）
