I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. And so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
In a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the “unalienable Rights” of “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked “insufficient funds.”
But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. And so, we've come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children.
It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.
But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.
The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.
We cannot walk alone.
And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.
We cannot turn back.
There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, “When will you be satisfied?” We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. We cannot be satisfied as long as the Negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. We can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their selfhood and robbed of their dignity by signs stating “for whites only.” We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until “justice rolls down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. And some of you have come from areas where your quest -- quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.
Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends.
And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

一个人静静地坐在陪伴十几个春秋的窗台,算是漫不经心或者更多的是享受这片刻的闲情。不知从什么时候开始,就对这种感觉情有独钟。就这样一个人静静的坐着,什么都可以想,什么都可以不想。没有人指责,没有人订下目标,有的只是自由轻松。可现实好象不允许我这样生活下去。
“死丫头,五点种不起床有你好看。”光听她那独特的音调,就很容易联想到她发现我的一系列动作。伸出右手食指指我几下,然后双手锸腰凶神恶煞的眼神注视我的一举一动。
我不情愿地睁开双眼,抬抬手看看表,凌晨一点零一分。真幸运,上个星期六十二点半就被发现了。娴熟的从窗台上跳下来,拍拍手,扯扯睡衣,迈向卧室的门。

教师,他如丝丝春雨,滋润着世间万物,哺育着可爱的生命,创造了无尽的财富,谱写了许多优美的乐章;教师又如一座巍峨的大山,里面蕴藏着许多奇珍异宝,从而又无私的奉献了出来,哺育着我们逐渐成长,强壮了我们的身心,让我们在知识的海洋中漫游。
如果我长大以后能做教师,我一定会去山区的地方教书,因为山区那儿的孩子很少有人上学,大多在家中帮父母干活。他们十分希望上学。这让我想起一本书————《马燕日记》。我要让他们知道学习的好处,让一些辍学的孩子重新回到学校。
我一定会为这个梦想而努力,为这个梦想而奋斗。总有一天,我一定会让更多的孩子学习。

如果可以承担生命的嘱托,我希望那个人就是我。我的梦想就是做一名医生,能妙手回春,尽一个医生的职责。
在人类与疾病的斗争史上,有多少可怜的人死于非命。生命就是这样脆弱,无法与无情的病魔抗争。但是,哪里有处在病痛中的人,哪里就有白衣战士的'身影。他们奉献着自己的青春去温暖世道;他们伸出自己的双手去挽救垂危的生命。
我敬仰他们,我敬佩他们。我的梦想就是像钟南山一样,像华益慰一样,像千千万万默默奉献在与病魔抗争第一线的医务工作者一样,为人类的健康事业而奋斗。

篇7:我有一个梦想
我有一个梦想:长大以后,当-个世界顶级的服装设计师,我要设计出既时尚又舒适的服装,让所有人都穿上自己喜欢的衣服
我会到世界各地搜集最好的面料,面料是做出美丽衣服的基础,我买来的特殊的面料和普通面料可是不-祥的,它可以根据人的身材不同,所处的地域温度不同,来调整舒话度,不管高矮胖瘦,穿上我设计的衣服,都会有自己独一无二的美丽效果。我还有一台高科技设备,我向它输入我的设计稿,再将选好的布料放上去,它就能自动将衣服打印出来。当然,最出彩的还是我手工设计缝制的点晴之处,它可是我区别于-般设计师的地方。我的设计有一个漂亮的logo,服装品牌就叫“Belle”。
做好了衣服,就要展示给大家,我还设计了一个属于自己的服装展示T台,舞台布置精美,灯光更是增添了气氛,来看秀的观众坐在有按摩功能的椅子上,服务员会送上精心准备的食物和饮料。椅子的设计也是有科技感的,它可以横空升起来,让大家能更加清楚的欣赏到股装的设计
我一个人可是忙不过来,我还有一两个精明的助手,她们来帮助我准备我需要的材料和安排服装秀的事情,对了,我还有一个聪明的机器人帮手,它可以随时储存我所有的设计灵感。
"叮铃铃”清晨的闹钟将我从睡梦中唤醒,“原来一切都是一场梦啊!”我揉了揉惺忪的睡眼,赶紧起床准备上学去,我现在要好好的学习,为了我的梦想而努力。
篇8:我有一个梦想
梦,这个词让人觉得遥不可及。我认为这永远不会实现。但是每个人都有自己的梦想,而且他们可能在不同的时间有不同的梦想。
过去,我的梦想是成为一名警察,因为我觉得在电视剧里当警察很好。我也要亲自抓那些犯法的人!
然而,当我读报纸时,它说那些贫困山区的孩子没有书可读,没有人愿意教他们在哪里读书和写字。我的梦想已经改变了。我想快点长大。我希望我能成为一名教师。然后我可以去贫困山区教孩子们读书。
在过去的两年里,我的梦想也变了,变得更加遥不可及。因为当我在电视上听到:2008年四川汶川地震,2010年青海玉树地震,甘肃泥石流,洪水等等。虽然自然灾害是无情的,但人是有感情的。中国人民永远不会放弃任何拯救生命的机会。我被这种真实的感觉感动了。那一刻,我的梦想不再是成为一名警察或教师。我希望我能有一双翅膀,和中国人一起飞离这个多灾多难的地方。飞到一个永远不会有自然灾害的和谐的地方。
梦离我真的很远吗?
我不会回答,可能真的很远,也可能很近。然而,我知道每个人都必须有梦想,因为只要有梦想,就有追求的目标,这样我们才能朝着目标前进,变得更好。
现在,我的梦想不再遥远。我的梦想只是进入一所理想的高中。所以我设定了这个目标,我想实现这个目标,首先,我必须努力学习,我知道我将能够实现这个梦想......
