I’ve just came back from the 24th Carnival Camp which is held at SJK(C) Keat Hwa K. The camp is organized by 53rd Land Scout troop, Keat Hwa’s Sea Scout, Sin Min high school Land Scout and also St. Michael Land Scout.
Despite that we had to pay for the badge, scarf and food, it was worth it! We had lots of fun together.
I can’t deny that I’m getting older today because I can’t recognize all the new faces at all, except those who I knew in my generation. Haha. This time many of my badge friends and older badge seniors have came back to attend the campfire night.
It can be said a huge gathering although not everyone was there, a few failed to attend due to some personal reasons.
Anyway, I really enjoyed a lot.
We climbed the pioneering, taught the primary kids some backwoods, invaded the members campsite…
During the campfire, we danced around the fire and watched the petrols performing their dances and songs, we danced together and snaped a lot of photos too!
I will post a few here once I got tagged since the photos are not with me, hehe. By the way, glad to know other scouts who came from other schools too!
The most rare occasion is that I got to see those familiar faces! I’m so happy that all of my badge’s committee have came back too, finally we can take a photo of the six of us again! Too bad that Wei Han didn’t come, we haven’t forget him. :)
I really miss my camping times while I was still in high school. They are such precious memory to me.
I couldn’t be the young me again and do all the scouting, but it’s really great to have those feelings back!
I’ll be leaving home on this coming Sunday morning. Among all local Universities, UKM’s students are going to be the first to start the new semester. In other words, my holidays end first and I have to go back earlier than others. I’d been home for only 2 weeks and I felt it is not enough. I want to stay longer here.
I somehow came to realize that I really love my hometown.
Although it is not big city, it doesn’t have very tall buildings and modern transportation, it doesn’t have sparkling night life like in Kuala Lumpur but I still love it.
