人生来有一张嘴，两个耳朵，你说是说重要，还是听重要？
一说说重要，一说听重要，每个答案都有大批的“粉丝”，但到底哪个更重要？读完故事就知道，
话说学营销的老张刚毕业那年（90年代末）的7月份，远房亲戚给找了份工作，但要等一个月才让报到，闲不住的老张就借了房东的三轮车到附近的华中食品城（中南地区最大食品批发市场）批发了10箱“XX”牌方面（12元/箱），准备推销给街边的小零售店。
但把这些方面卖给谁？怎么卖？老张就拿他现学来的营销知识为自己“算”了一卦：
1、谁是我的销售对象？市内的销量比较大，但以正规超市销售居多，手续繁多，自己根本没法进去；市郊的街边或都市村庄的零售店虽然小、进货量少，但竞争不是太激烈，是一个厂家业务员很少光顾的市场，还有得做；

七月天热得厉害，上午的好运并没有一直延续，直到晚上7点车上还是四箱货！郑州的天到晚上8点就全黑下来了。怎么办？跑了一天，全身衣服都湿透了，老张心里很着急，但倔强的他还是只有一个想法：今天必须把这些四箱货卖掉（毕业后当时身上就200块钱，要不明天进货就没钱了）！
在南三环附近一个都市村庄路口，有一家小卖铺，周围围了一大群人，上去一看，只见一个大裤头光膀子的中年人正和一个二十来岁的卷发年轻孩儿吵架，好像是因为三毛钱的厕所钱，（大裤头承包了村头的厕所，这是后来知道的），卷毛只给了他两毛钱，大裤头不乐意，卷毛气也盛，就吵起来了，
看吵架可不是老张的任务，老张去了小卖铺，没人，就问旁边的一个修自行车的老伯，他给老张一指：正吵架那位大裤头！哈哈，来得真是时候，老板正在气头上会要我的货吗？
倔强的老张只好在小卖铺门口等着。看着气哼哼的大裤头暗下决心：货一定得卖给你！
大约过了十几分钟，大裤头骂骂咧咧过来了，看来还是没要到那一毛钱，老张就跟他进了店内，大裤头也没问他是谁，就开始向老张倾诉开了，中心内容无非是自己承包村里的厕所也不容易、骂卷毛没教养。初入道的老张此时倒显得很老道，运用学来的“顾客异议处理”的同理倾听原则来对付大裤头喋喋不休的倾诉（后来老张想起来就想笑，男人婆婆妈妈的时候也蛮可爱嘛）,并把它演绎为同理倾听三招（这是后来总结的）：
第一招：听，对大裤头的意见、观点全部点头称是，达到初步心理认同；
第二招：骂，跟着大裤头一起骂卷毛没教养、欠揍，争取成为“战友”，枪口一致对外，进一步增进感情认同；
第三招：劝，瞅准时机给大裤头消气：怒则伤肝，对自己身体不好；“批评”他不要与小孩一般见识等等。可以达到两个目的，一表明自己非常关心他，更进一步拉近心理距离，二表明自己的态度，不要人家说你没主见，看不起你。
半个小时过去了，大裤头的气也消得差不多了,对老张能听他诉说十分高兴，这时候才想起来问老张是来干啥的?！老张心里好笑地把目的一说，谁知道大裤头二话没说就四箱货要了下来，还要留老张吃饭喝酒呢！
